Watch the Short That Inspired the Film
Released in 2018, Thomas DeCarlo’s animated short film – also titled “The Encounter” – screened at festivals around the country and received numerous awards. In addition to writing and directing the film, Thomas was the sole CG artist on the production and even wrote and performed an original song for the film.
